The CBX400 Custom was Honda Japan's American-style 400 four, using a different engine from the CBX400F with altered bore and stroke and a shaft final drive. With a 19-inch front wheel, 16-inch rear, stepped seat and hydraulic clutch it traded the F's sporting chassis for relaxed cruiser manners.
